As Legionella control specialists we work together with facility management companies to offer a cost effective solution to make sure their clients fulfil their health and safety requirements.
We recently assisted Robertson Facilities Management by providing legionella risk assessments, monitoring and maintenance programmes and cleaning and disinfection regimes for their diverse range of clients including schools, NHS hospitals, council and industrial properties.
As part of the contract we carried out monthly, quarterly, six monthly and annual visits on the properties.
All commercial buildings have water systems that can be breeding grounds for the harmful bacteria that cause Legionnaires’ disease. Effective control and monitoring of these systems and thorough legionella risk assessments will prevent Legionella bacteria occurring.
