Scope of Work

TWS provided a full suite of legionella risk management and control services tailored to meet the unique demands of local authority buildings. The scope of our work included:

• Legionella Risk Assessments to identify and assess potential hazards within water systems across council-owned sites.
• Monitoring and Maintenance to ensure ongoing compliance and reduce the risk of bacterial growth, through planned, preventative regimes.
• Remedial Works to address any issues identified during assessments or monitoring, safeguarding both infrastructure and public health.
• Written Schemes of Control to document processes, responsibilities and actions for managing Legionella risks in accordance with Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidance.

This joined-up approach has enabled Harrow Council to stay fully compliant with the HSE’s Approved Code of Practice (L8), while also giving their staff the tools and confidence to manage water safety on an ongoing basis.
