Information on our response to COVID-19
COVID-19, or Coronavirus, is understandably causing lots of concern, but we want to reassure our customers that the essential services we offer are unaffected.
It’s important that we define “essential” and after consultation with the relevant governmental departments and trade associations the following services are defined as essential.
- Legionella compliance
- Leak/burst repairs
These services are operating “business as usual” and we are following the governments guidance paying attention to social distancing and using the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).
We also want to reassure our customer that we have reviewed our working practices and have the processes and procedures in place to carryout these works without endangering our customers or our employees.
For a lot of our customers we know it’s not business as usual and we want to support you all as much as possible. Legionella could potentially become a real issue with buildings being closed, partially closed or simply having less users. This could allow water to stagnate due to lack of turnover which then allow legionella bacteria to grown in your water system. We will update this page with anything we think may be useful to help you maintain the health of your buildings so that when this is all over – and it will be over – we can all get back to normal as soon as possible.
